Don, I just ordered my better press today. And I just found you because I’m looking for all sorts of videos you’ve brought up a lot of great things, but where was your hack to keep your diecutting from spoiling plates that you than using for the better press and I hope I’m wording that correctly. I’m sorry, I’m tired and I’m going to bed. But you mentioned about a hack that you would produce, and I don’t have time to look up all of your videos if you could post where that video is and reply to my comment I would sincerely appreciate it. Ooh, I love the last card. The purple is so dramatic! Here's a thought for those extra die cuts you toss. Donate them to your local grade school(s). If they're layered flowers, leaves, etc., put them together ahead of time. Grade school teachers usually have some kind of bulletin board/display outside the classroom door or in the hallway. They change them out per season. Kids get so excited when there's a "happy" scene to greet them at the classroom door or as they walk down the hall. Even if the dies are small, teachers can put them in the background or use them for something else entirely. I've donated "glittery" paper I personally thought was atrocious (lol). The kindergarten and 1st grade teachers fought over that paper pad! The little kids thought it was beautiful! The mothers of those kids received lovely cards/art projects (so sweet)!!! sincerely, mother of a grade school teacher!

This is the demonstration that introduced me to card making. I was searching YT for tips on water colour techniques. I absolutely love card making now - it’s my most favourite hobby, ever 🫶🏻🧡😃….. BTW, so pleased that you are still uploading videos. Your creations are such a delightful source of inspiration.

We have a sailboat like that years ago. we sailed from alpena michigan to meldrum Bay Canada. It was interesting we stayed about 3 weeks travel all around the waterways, when the weather was snotty, we hunker down ,lol beautiful pretty card thank u. Love the blue card.

Love both cards Dawn, but have to say today's card is my favorite!!!! And I and hubby live in the Oregon coast so we get to see lots of crabbing, boating and we're 5 mins from the ocean, we love being near the water!

I have this system. I am happy that I did purchase it. I am a bit confused still about what other die plates may or may not work. I guess it is just a matter of testing. I get the impression the shims are the control for choice here. I have some lovely very detailed and thicker die cut designs, I will give it a try. I am not going to be over focused on what all I can't do but try to enjoy the actual different, lovely things I can do with this. machine. YOUR DEMONSTRATION WAS A GAME CHANGER. Dawn, this card is GORGEOUS!! I love the colors and vibrancy & all those lovely layers! I think the differences in color strips in the sun adds a lot more interest than even stripes would have, and the colorful clouds…OMG, amazing!! You totally could have gotten away with that pink one! Shading die cuts with ink blending is beautiful and can add lovely depth & realism, but I sure do love the look of straight-color die cuts on a card!! 🤩 You & I should have a competition for indecisiveness. I laughed so hard when you said that because I’m the exact same way (in card making & in daily life, unfortunately. 😅). 😉

We had a fun sailboat on Lake Erie. There was a big colorful front sail that we called a "jenny" from Genoa. If the wind was stronger, we used a smaller white sail that was a jib. Your dies look fantastic, I especially love your waves.
